EMILY SHEFFIELD, Vogue's deputy editor

EMILY SHEFFIELD, Vogue's deputy editor, has denied that she is styling Kate Middleton for her trip to Canada with Prince William after their wedding - despite reports in several national newspapers earlier this week.

"There has been a rumour circulating since last Sunday that I have a new career alongside my day job at Vogue, namely helping plot the wardrobe of our much-discussed future queen, Catherine Middleton, for her tour of Canada in June," Sheffield writes in today's Daily Telegraph. "Sadly to say, as much as I'd like a little of the royal wedding fairy dust to sprinkle on the hum drum of my daily life - and who would not want to be party to the inner sanctum of that Middleton trio right now (well, a few would consider it an earthbound vision of Hades) - it is not I who has landed that role."
