MODEL Anja Rubik got engaged on Christmas Eve to her boyfriend, fellow model Sasha Knezevic, in Vienna. The happy news was revealed via Twitter by Rubik's agency Next Models New York
The couple starred together in a Gap fragrance campaign and have a DKNY fragrance campaign due for release, New York
Polish-born Rubik - who is a catwalk favourite for labels including Jean Paul Gaultier, Fendi, Gucci, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Balmain, Isabel Marant, Christian Dior, Viktor & Rolf, Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Chanel, John Galliano and Hermès - told us last Christmas that it was a special time for her. And with the proposal coming on Christmas Eve, it seems this year was no different.
"I will have some time off at Christmas," she said then. "We'll have a really traditional celebration with the family at home - and then we'll probably head to the Alps for some skiing. So, not much rest! I'll be at home for Christmas with my sister and parents having a big family Christmas, all the traditional things."
