Suede to perform first three albums in London

The band also plan to release re-mastered versions of all five studio albums in June.

Suede's comeback continues with the announcement of three consecutive London shows.

The band will play their first three studio albums at the Brixton Academy in May.

Their self-titled debut will kick-off the three shows on May 19, followed by Dog Man Star the following night and 1996's Coming Up on May 21.

The band have also confirmed to be playing at April's Coachella festival in California and the SOS festival in Murcia, Spain.

According to the band's official website, Suede also plan to release re-mastered versions of all five studio albums in June.

Brett Anderson said: "This is the definitive collection of pretty much everything we released in 14 years together. It's the complete audio history of a band and, like any band of interest, it's flawed, strange and sometime beautiful."

Although not part of the reunion, former guitarist Bernard Butler is rumoured to be involved in the album re-issues.

Butler left the band in 1994 after the band's debut album, but formed the Tears with Anderson in 2004 and worked on the Best of Suede album.

Reforming in 2010, Suede played at the O2 Arena to a sell-out crowd, the biggest indoor gig in the band's history.

The comeback follows in the footsteps of Blur's return in 2009 and Pulp's comeback with festival shows this summer.
