The singer beats off competition at the ceremony in London.
For someone who recently said that music was getting in the way, Plan B hasn’t been doing too bad recently in the way of musical accolades.
The latest award under his belt has come in the form of the Pop Music award at the South Bank Sky Arts Awards, which was presented with by Rolling Stones legend Ronnie Wood. Hosted by Melvyn Bragg, obviously, the ceremony was a celebration of the arts in Britain which Bragg said are “vibrant and thriving.”
The other musical winner was Everything Everything, who triumphed over comedy and television stars to take the Times Breakthrough award.
Winners elsewhere were low budget movie Monsters taking Best Film, and Dame Judi Dench winning the Outstanding Achievement Award.
The event can be seen tonight on Sky Arts 1 at 9pm.
