She's had something of a supporting role in the past two series of Glee, only getting a starring part in the Britney Spears tribute episode.
But last night Heather Morris, who plays Brittany Pierce in the hit US TV show, outshone her Glee co-stars when she arrived at the 2011 Fox Winter All Star Party at Villa Sorriso, Pasadena, wearing a tiny black dress which left very little to the imagination.
The 23-year-old donned the asymmetrical velvet minidress, which she teamed with matching black sandals and tumbling curls, for the event, standing out from the crowd as she posed for photographers.
Heather's toned curves are clearly a result of having danced since she was just one year old.
She has forged a hugely successful career in the industry, having worked as a backing dancer on Beyonce's world tour in 2007 before she was offered the part on Glee.
Last night, Heather was clearly keen to show off her honed figure in the incredibly tight dress, drawing attention away from co-stars Dianna Agron, Naya Rivera and Jenna Ushkowitz
While Dianna kept it demure in a scoop-neck black dress with a thin red belt and heels, Jenns went for a fitted grey panelled dress and taupe heels.
It was Naya, however, who came the closest to competing with Heather outside the event, as she arrived wearing a stunning geometric print peplum style dress and red suede heels.
Jessalyn Gilsig, who plays Matthew Morrison's character Will Schuester's estranged wife Terri, and Jayma Mays, who stars as his current love interest Emma Pillsbury, also attended the event, both opting for tight dresses which showed off their figures.
And it wasn't only Glee stars who made an appearance at last night's event, as Bones star Emily Deschanel looked stunning in a beige and black lace dress, while Jennifer Beals, who will play the lead role in new FOX show The Chicago Code, went for a pretty silk top and shiny blue skirt.
Also present was Odette Yustman, who can soon be seen in FOX series Breaking In, British star Shelley Conn, who stars in Steven Spielberg's 13 part series Terra Nova, and actress Michelle Nunes.
Meanwhile, as well as outshining her co-stars on the red carpet, it seems Heather might be on her way to achieving fame on the big screen.
The actress recently revealed she is being considered for a role in the film remake of Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
While she didn't specify exactly what role she would possibly be offered, Heather admitted she is more than a little excited about the prospect.
She told Access Hollywood: 'They're considering me! I found out and I almost peed my pants because I was so excited!
'If they make Buffy when Glee is on hiatus, I don't even care what I do. I can just run through the shoot and do nothing - even if I'm not Buffy!'
Heather has also poked fun at her role on Glee by starring in a spoof video for website Funnyordie.com.
Heather shows off her rapping skills and gangsta dance moves in Nuthin' But A Glee Thang, a new take on Dr Dre's Nuthin' But A G Thang.
In the video, Heather is seen discussing her favourite Glee character at a slumber party with friends including Modern Family's Sofia Vergara, who insists Jane Lynch's character Sue Sylvester is the funniest in the show.
Sofia, who wears a red adidas tracksuit similar to the ones sported by Lynch on Glee, says in the video: 'Comparing Jane to the rest of the cast is like comparing the Great Barrier Reef with a piece of dogs*** - no offense, Heather.'
But Sofia later reveals Heather's Brittany is actually her favourite character, before the video cuts to the hilarious song and dance routine which also features Glee stars Matthew Morrison, Cory Monteith, Harry Shum Jr. and Naya Rivera.
