Kristen Stewart seems to march to the beat of her own drum and her director for ‘On the Road’ seems to agree.
Gerald Nicosia seems to think that Stewart and her castmates in the film are somewhat like outsiders, states The New York Times. “They’re all very unconventional in their own lives,” Nicosia said about Stewart, Garrett Hedlund and others.
“If you’re an outsider, you understand what counterculture is about,” the director said about the actors being able to connect to their characters in the way he was hoping.
